We have a very important deadline upon us: if you wish to take the Water Treatment Operator certification exam this coming May 16, your application must be postmarked no later than this coming Monday, March 2. Completing this two-page application is very simple, so that is no excuse! And the Treatment Exam Application is available online from the California State Water Resources Control Board web site:
Of course, once you have applied, you still need to pass the exam! In addition to all the courses we offer here at MOST, there is another great opportunity to help you pass the Operator Certification Exams. We are conducting a full-day review session at Santiago Canyon College this coming Friday, March 6. You can still enroll online at the college’s web site:
The course is Water 057. And it will cost you about $10. You cannot go wrong! The course has its own web site with practice exams and over 200 other practice problems, plus about 1000 slides that we will be covering in class on March 6. The web site even has an online discussion so you can get help from your instructor (that would be me), or other folks in the review class. We have about 50 folks enrolled so far, but we still have room for you!
And if you’re getting ready for the May 16 Water Treatment Operator certification exam, we have another one-day test preparation course for you at SCC. It is Water 056, and it will be all day on Friday, May 1 — that’s right: May Day! Very appropriate if you’re stressing about the State exam! This class will also have its own web site, and it will be available soon so that you can start your studying right now.
Good luck on your Operator Certification Exams! And don’t forget that MOST is here to help you pass.
