Introduction Treatment Course

Thanks to those of you who signed up for the Introduction Water Treatment course that we will be teaching all this week for the California-Nevada Section of the American Water Works Association.  Because of that commitment, don’t expect any more posts prior to next weekend!

My thanks to John from my Advanced Water Distribution course at the College of the Canyons for the following link:

Seems that Governor Brown has a plan to rectify one of his major failings as California’s governor during his first tenure some thirty years ago.  We applaud the Governor for his leadership on this issue, and we wish him the very best in this task.  The future of our State depends on it!

We must humbly remind our readers that we predicted this right here at MOST!  See:

There were actually a couple of blogs prior to this one on the issue, so we’re rather proud of our “crystal ball.”  In truth, though, “Necessity is the Mother of Invention,” and there are few things more necessary in California than the Peripheral Canal — or whatever it is being called these days.  We consider this to be the MOST important issue in California water, and we congratulate the Governor for his action.
