The Countdown Continues …

Time flies when you’re having fun — or when you’re trying to get ready for a certification exam!  It seems as though there’s never enough time to prepare.  And with only two weeks remaining for the Treatment Operator exam here in California, I’m sure a lot of you are starting to feel the pressure.  Here’s what I recommend.

First, don’t over-study.  Commit to just 30 minutes or so each work day, and perhaps a one-hour session or two on each non-work day.  Anything more than that will just make you mentally tired — so tired that you’ll be worn out on exam day!

Next, in these last couple of weeks, don’t plan on learning anything new.  It’s really too late for that.  Just review the stuff that you’ve already learned, and make sure you get all the points you can on that.  Practice by taking short quizzes and exams from classes you’ve taken.  Don’t forget my standing offer: a free practice exam and answer key is yours, just for asking!  All I request in return is that you “Subscribe to Updates” here at the MOST site.  Once you’ve signed up, “Contact” me, and I’ll e-mail it out to you.

I happen to think it is the MOST valuable study tool you can have as you prepare for the certification exam.

And don’t forget to take advantage of the great, one-hour, online opportunities that we have for you here at MOST.  Our Water Math courses are especially helpful at this time, as they each have at least a dozen practice math problems for you, complete with step-by-step solutions.  And you can re-take the classes as many times as you want for the one-time fee of only $10!  That’s absolutely the MOST value for your training dollar!

Please send me the free practice exam as I will be attempting to pass the Grade 4 water distribution exam in Arizona in two weeks.
Will the practice exam that you send be the level that I need to study?
I took the grade 4 a year ago and did not pass.
If I did better on the math questions I think that I would have passed. Maybe I should take your math classes.
Anyway, thank you for your offer that you would send a free practice exam and answer key. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, and I thank you very much for your blog and website. I intend to sigh up for some of your classes.
