What, Me Worry?

The weather here in southern California has been terrific — unless you are a worry-wart water guy like me. In this blog, I warned against getting too complacent with the great early rains of last Fall. It seems as though I’m not the only one that’s now looking up at the sky and getting very nervous. See:

The first twelve weeks on the calendar are — by far — our most productive in terms of precipitation in California. And this is especially true in Central and Southern California. We are now about half-way through this critical period, and all I see from the weather reports on television are smiling reporters telling us how “great” the weather is.

We need some more rain! Sunshine is well and good, but it won’t fill up our reservoirs.

So, yeah. I’m worried. And I’m praying for rain.
